Discussing Shane by Jack Schaefer
We’re partnering with The Lincoln Theater for their (virtual) Classic Western Book and Film Club. SHANE, a 1949 novel by Jack Schaefer and 1953 Oscar winning film for Best Cinematography, is the second in this four part series celebrating western novels and their adaptations to the big screen. Please feel free to sign up for one or both of these discussion groups.
The book discussion will take place on Tuesday, February 23 at 11 a.m. The film screening discussion, led by Andrew Fenniman of Lincoln Theater, will take place on Saturday, February 27 at 3 PM. Both discussions will be held by Zoom. To join, please email jeaton@skidompha.org.
