Skidompha Library | Computer Lab
For Adults | Registration Required
Join Skidompha Library for a morning spent learning about technology and enjoying tasty treats!
This in-person workshop is for those who are new to using email or who want to build more confidence using email. The email training will be using Gmail, one of the most common email platforms. Learners will create a Gmail account. They will also learn how to perform basic email functions, such as sending, receiving, and replying to email. Also, they will learn to recognize and deal with spam, organize and delete emails, and search for messages.
Participants may bring their own computer or use one of the library’s six PC workstations (please inform librarians if you need a computer when registering).
The Donuts & Devices: Digital Literacy Workshops are funded by the Public Library Association Digital Literacy Workshop Incentive, supported by AT&T, which strives to support libraries of all sizes to conduct digital literacy training in their communities and help close the digital divide.
