Please join the Lincoln Academy community for a free screening of the 2014 film Selma on January 26 at 6:00 PM at the Poe Theater, followed by a facilitated conversation led by Megan Taft of Kieve-Wavus Education and Roland Davis, Associate Dean for Diversity and Inclusion, Harvard University.
This screening and discussion is part of a series of events this month honoring the legacy of Martin Luther King Jr. All events are free and open to the public.
Roland Davis, Ph.D, has earned graduate degrees from Boston College and UNH. He has held key leadership roles at Bates College and Simmons College where he was a catalyst for change on issues of diversity and inclusion. He recently joined Harvard University as Associate Dean for Diversity and Inclusion, where he will serve as a thought leader guiding the Harvard community around issues of equity, diversity, and inclusion.
Megan Taft, M.Ed., earned a masters in social justice education from UMass. She has held various roles supporting the work around diversity and inclusion at the University of Wisconsin and Bates College. In her current work at Kieve-Wavus Education she is leading the efforts of the Kieve-Wavus Leads program, an expeditionary based mentoring program for local students.
