This program is for teens and an accompanying adult also participating in the class. Space is limited and registration is required.
Join local artist Eric McIntyre of Wiscasset’s Village Handcraft for this hand broom workshop. We’ll spend the afternoon learning how to use knots, a bit of tension, and a dose of creative intuition to construct brooms that should last you many years. All materials and tools needed for the class will be provided. No prior experience is necessary to participate, though decent dexterity and strength in both hands is quite important for broom making.
