Hello, friends!
A quick update on our teen room. Work continues on this transition. We have moved two of the current teen shelf units from below the staircase to their new home in the computer room. We then moved the Large Print collection under the staircase to fill the blank space and recreate the walls to our artist nook.
Our next steps are to relocate the artwork from the computer room, move the public computers, and remove the large wooden cabinet (It’s looking for a good home–let me know if you are interested). Also, you might have seen the large crate of unassembled flatpack furniture at the back entrance. That is new shelving we have ordered to furnish the new teen space–shelving that we will be assembling over the next week or two.
This is a pretty exciting and substantial move for us, and I’m very excited to see the new layout once we are done.
Lots of work still ahead, but we are making progress. Thank you very much for bearing with us during this disruption.
